Symposium Overview

The Big Ideas Symposium is a free one-day event where top minds in water, sustainability, human rights, food, regenerative medicine and more will gather to share their ideas with the university community. The objective of the event is to showcase ideas in a fun, fast-paced conference format where participants engage with UC Davis innovators and provide feedback that will influence the fundraising initiatives for the university’s second comprehensive campaign.

UC Davis alumni, leadersfaculty, students, staff and friends of the university.

Access to all 45 sessions with free continental breakfast and lunch.

Lodging

For  information about lodging accommodations, visit the  Yolo County Visitors Bureau.

Parking

  • From Old Davis Road turn  onto  Hilgard Lane.
  • Turn left into the Gateway Parking Structure or continue to the surface lot.
  • Daily visitor permits are available for $9.00 and may be purchased from permit dispensing machines located at the entrances. Display your parking permit on your dash and choose from any of the several parking spaces marked for visitors.
